Do you feel that a mom has certain roles in the home and that a dad has certain roles in the home?

One parent home- i have to be mom and dad!! It sucks. I teach my kids gender roles that traditional girls do this and guys do that.. what ever, but my son helps me cook and my girls help me mow because I want them to be self suffiecient, I tell them they shouldn't have to depend on someone because they don't know how, we are all capible of learning. I believe that both genders should know how and be good at both roles and then when they marry they can decide with their spouse whom will be responsible for what...because what if my daughter getts married and her husband is terribly sick in the hospital and she has a flat on the way to see him, well you better believe she won't be waiting on AAA on the side of the road, she jump out and change that bad boy. My son gets married and his wife is pregnant and needs rest, he says to her, don't worry sweet, go lay down and i will cook dinner and finish the laundry.
