Cheapest way to replace fancy wheels with stock?
I bought my used 2004 Honda Civic with fancy Enkei steel wheels which are fine except they make the car look like its being driven by a young punk. I do need new tires and figured it would be the perfect opportunity to place regular wheels and Honda hubcaps back on. Frankly, if there are some fancier Honda or similar hubcaps, that might be a bit flashier this would work as well. What would be the least expensive way to do this? I intended to have the tire place sell me four stock wheels, then I would go to a car junkyard and pop off four hubcaps off a similar honda. Are most Hondas interchangeable in this way? Any chance a car in the junkyard may have some fancier Honda caps and would these also work with the new wheels? One thing I do like is the wider, larger tires. I can't imagine the wider, larger tires on my car would be compatible with stock wheels. Any other options?
